Del is a composer based in Los Angeles, specializing in music for visual media. He composed and performed music from an early age, playing trumpet in classical ensembles touring in the United States and Europe, and playing guitar in various rock and jazz groups. He completed a Masters of Music in Film Composition in the summer of 2012, studying composition and orchestration for film and television with Emmy-winning composer Hummie Mann, and songwriting with multi-platinum songwriter Sue Ennis, and studio technology with Tim Huling. He has composed scores for shorts, features, and commercials, and is currently working on music for Top Chef Master Thierry Rautureau’s new project, Kitchen Circus.
Del served as Vice-President on the board of The Seattle Composers Alliance from 2010-2012. He has also been a contributing writer for the Seattle Weekly and MSNBC, writing about indie music for the column “Independent Study.”
